Your plugs look fine. In fact they look new. You're not really going to tell a lot on new plugs.
Sounds like the same question from your previous posts. https://www.ninjette.org/forums/show...ighlight=plugs https://www.ninjette.org/forums/show...ighlight=color https://www.ninjette.org/forums/show...ighlight=spark https://www.ninjette.org/forums/show...ighlight=spark |

Your idle mixture setting aren't going to change the color of your plugs significantly - unless you are idling all day...
Set the idle mixture screws at a base setting of 2 1/2 turns out, then go in or out 1/2 turn to see which direction makes it run better. If it runs significantly better, go more in the same direction until it runs worse. Then make adjustments in 1/8 turn increments back toward the base setting until you feel it's the best. Another way to set the idle mixture is to adjust them until you get the highest hot idle speed, then go slightly (1/8 turn +/-) richer. Going slightly richer usually smooths out the transition from the idle circuit to the needle, where having it adjusted "right on" can sometimes give you a little lean stumble as it transitions. When you are done you will most likely need to set the hot idle speed to back 1300. If you carbs are out of sync you may not be able to get it to idle well no matter where you set it, so be sure they are synced before making fine adjustments. |
