HJC IS-17 Chin Curtain
I just purchased a chin curtain for my HJC IS-17 helmet. I am having trouble installing it properly. Can anyone help me? I've searched all over the internet, videos and all, and I still can't find a video or instructional diagram/blog/list that will help. I need help please!

Can you post pics?
The curtains I've had just slid up between the foam and the shell, but not sure if yours is different.

Not sure about that particular helmet, but on my Scorpions, the chin curtain just slides in between the liner and the shell.

I have that exact helmet with that exact chin curtain, it can be kinda a B*tch sometimes, but you just gotta click in the tabs into the groves.... do one side at a time.

I could take pics for you later if you haven't figured it out yet.

Here are four more. My issue is that the black plastic cover (the one my thumb is touching in the first picture in the first post) won't come off. It might come off but I do not know how and I certainly do to want to break it. Also, the part where the grey cushion meets that black plastic is really tight and I'm not sure the plastic tabs of the chin curtain will fit.

Can you fold the black cover to expose the gap between the inside plastic and the outside shell?
Like this?

Awesome!!!! Thank you so much! I tried that earlier but the black cover seemed too stiff to bend back all the way around and, since it is a new helmet, I didn't want to ruin it so I cautioned on the side of safety. After muscling it in, I got it! Thank you
