Question On Cleaning The Carbs
My 2012 Ninja 250 doesn't want to start after sitting quite some time. I figure it probably needs to have the carbs cleaned. I was able to remove the fairings, seat and tank pretty easily using the DIY'ers on this site. My issue is I can't figure out if I need to remove the airbox to remove the carbs, or what screws this requires. Any tips would be appreciated.

you dont NEED to remove the airbox, but it makes the job of removing the carbs a lot easier. In order to do that, you need to drop the rear tail pan. It is pretty involved for what you think it is.
don't forget the screw down by the sprocket holding the airbox down. |
