That was very nice of you. Is she a member here? If not she may want to sign up so she can post some questions.

Hot yes, and not a member yet... Going to get her temps and get her comfy on the bike before I introduce her to the dogs in here... She's excited to learn on a streetbike and likes the clothes so it's a win win for me...

no 600 cause i didnt pay for it... hence the trading for my bass boat in the sub-title... saw the bike on craigslist... had 613 miles and was cherry... he wanted to trade for a boat and i had one that was equal in value to trade... pretty easy transaction actually...

Great choice on the color for the CBR... am not a big fan of their tribal designs.

Congrats!

nice trade.
how's the riding position on the cbr?
i've heard that it's the most uncomfortable on all 600s.

ridiculously big gas tank... but once you get on it sucks you into the bike... fun to ride... hydraulic clutch is a new one on me and that took a bit to get used to... stupid power and ridiculously fast but im too old to care about being dangerous anymore...

+1

The ergos on my 636 is pure hell compared to the new 600RR's... about as comfortable as a 600cc supersport will get IMO

I rode an '09 CBR600RA this past weekend and it was really comfortable despite the longer and lower reach to the bars. Makes me want to raise the position of the pegs on my 250R in fact.

Watch the double bubble wind screen and parking in the sun (I can't tell from your picture if yours is transparent or solid). Mine is a Puig, dark smoke and the top of my gauge cluster is melted and the black background of my tach is bubbled up from the screen doing like a magnifying glass. Do a google and you'll see that it's pretty common... a bunch of guys over at 1000rr.net have had it happen too.
