New Clip ons

I'm waiting on my set to come in for me to bang around on for a little bit. I have to wait for a muslim holiday to end first. But these are a new two way adjustable clip on.

In and out like vortex and wc. But with these you can rotate the bars up and down thus no pinching a more range to find the position that suits the indvidual rider best.

Ya thats true but i wish the WC's would have alittle more angle instead of a more straight feel.

Do the triples have to be dropped to make room for attaching those to the fork above them?

Yes. Its the same effect as putting them under the triple then.

Wonder how lowering the forks would affect handling and if, under hard braking, how close the fender would get to the lower triple ? For sure the clamp holding the brake line near the lower clamp would need moving. Looks like you need to drop them at least 25mm to get the clip-ons on. Sounds like a set of stiffer fork springs would be a good idea. I know dropping the forks 15mm on my GSXR's made for a quicker turn in but beyond that things got pretty twitchy and without upgraded cartridge parts starting touching under heavy braking at speed.

^ actually you would not need to drop them 25mm. The stock setting as about 15mm worth of fork comming out of the top clamp so your looking more along the lines of 10mm.

For some reason in the last week I have managed to gain access to more clipons then the entire US market produces. Theres to many to choose. Never a bad thing but my head hurts.

I have access to Kitaco like sema has shown.
I will have the Xraceand now yet another. Personally I think to much is going on with this next set but it would be cheaper than WC. Honest opinions are always welcome.

Ichiro I still need to do some talking with the maker. Much like the x race set up with the addition of a riser. Adjustable to what suits you best.
