Tech days?
Probably sound like I'm getting ahead of myself here but,,,, When I got my KLR I discovered local tech days. Folks would get together at somebodys garage and work on and help others work on their bikes. Really a fantastic benefit to owning a KLR. I'm an MMI victim and have been working in the industry on and off for eight years. I like chasing electrical problems. seriously, not something you hear people say everyday. If anybody is interested I'd like to volunteer. Maybe I'll even have my own 250 by then.
note: I work Saturdays unfortunatly. |

IIRC, there was one in either LA or The Bay area that I saw on these forums (too far North of me, for sure). Actually, it was more of a public meet-up with local dealers on site with their tools, expertise, a dyno, etc. Sounded awesome.

There was a guy Altomista, that had tech days in San Jose. I think he sold his 250s.
If you want to provide a garage, beer and snacks, I'll come by and watch you work.
