Kleen air system removal on CA model ninja

So I was looking on how to remove the Kleen air system on my 08 ninja. I bought the bike in AZ so I didn't think to check if it was a CA model bike or not.....well it is. I removed the airbox and removed the large hose that was attached.

But i still have the box mounted to my bike

My question is...once I remove the box from the bike with the hoses....what do I need to plug? I removed the airbox so that shouldn't need plugged

...I know I need to plug the little "chimney" looking thing thats in between the spark plugs.....what about the carb? Do I plug that or do I do something else there? I looked at the DIY but that was for the 49 state model and not the CA model....there was a little discussion on the CA model but not much....any help would be great.
