Long Weekend (labor day)

Just wondering what everyone plans are for the long weekend? i'm super stoked to get out of this hell hole for an extra day.

I'm going to take off tomorrow morning with the boy toy and head out to laughin. YAY, we'll be soaking up the sun friday, saturday and sunday and head back sunday afternoon. And on monday, i'm having a few friends over for the good ol BBQ.

No i'm not going on the bikes cuz its a 4 hour ride...i'm not ready for any of that.

Being a 7on/ 7 off shifter, holiday weekends aren't much of a deal.... every other week is a huge 7 day weekend so to speak...

hot tubbing and bbq may be on tap for this weekend once the yard is coiffed persay.

well excuuuuuuuuuuuuuse me. lol must be nice to have freaking 7 days off every other week.

remember to give yourself an hour after you eat to go in the water...or else you'll throw up in the hot tub. ewwwww. lol

You're excused and I do believe that the "no eating rule is for swimming only"... huge difference lol.... but then you are quite small so maybe a hot tub is more of a swimmin pool for ya.....

Since "Earl" has decided to make a visit starting Friday night I will be home hoping the power doesn't go out but if it does i guess i will be BBQuing on my little propane stove in a well ventilated room of course. Might have to spend the rest of the weekend picking up after "Earl"

I get outta here in the morning and come back in Monday night....Was originally going to head up to the mountains, but gotta work on a rental house that just came open

. One the guys I work with tho did just give me 2 tickets to the Nascrap race here for Sunday. Usually don't get into that but these are for a 6th floor condo in turn 4!!!! Free food and beer, we're there!! Hopefully will at least get a little riding in there somewhere.

This weekend plan involves furniture shopping on Saturday, a wine tasting in Temecula on Sunday and beach/hiking at Torrey Pines on Monday. I LOVE long weekends!

I will stay in town and relax. I find that as the last long weekend of summer, the highways in British Columbia are full of moronic drivers; usually there are several fatalities as the folks who are accustomed to driving in Vancouver hit the open road (sometimes literally).

I have booked a couple of days of vacation for the following week, so that I can have a 4-day week of relatively low traffic.

I'll be at the track monday, and probably just playing some videogames/being a useless lump/continue trying to sell my truck so I can buy cooler stuff on Saturday and Sunday. My favorite. I <3 time off
