WTB 2010 stock exhaust
Looking for the standard black can. I imagine many have pulled the stock unit for an aftermarket exhaust.

I have an original 08 silver. You can paint them like I have seen some ppl do in the farkles section. Check em out, actually look good. Shoot me an offer if interested.

Hey, Thanks for the heads up. I have the stock chrome one now. I was looking for the matte black. Just didn't like all of the chrome. I ended up getting some high temp silicone resin paint and did the curing process as directed. I think it came out pretty decent!

thanks Kim. Just read the whole recent thread about slip-on, no slip-on, full exhaust etc. I just like my quiet little sleeper. Part of the reason that I moved from my old house was because of the insane amount of noise we put up with from motorcycles. really, absolutely crazy. I would find myself saying "just fall over!"

well, being a motorcycle enthusiast myself, it even makes me cringe when I can hear the high pitched wail of a sport bike many blocks over by some hotshot who thinks that everyone simply must love the sound of his/her awesome bike. These are the types that make life hard for the rest of us trying to do our part by not being an obnoxious jerk on a sport bike.
Like anything, it just takes a few to spoil it for the rest. |
