More and more 250s...

It was the first 70 degree day this year for the DMV area. Perfect day for a ride. As expected, everyone with a motorcycle was out. Cruisers, trikes, spyders, sportbikes, and a WHOLE lot of 250s. Holy moly... I have never seen so many 250s! At least 10. Unfortunately, I didn't get to talk to any of the riders (too busy carving the twisties ). But it makes me happy to see all of the 250s. There is no doubt that Kawasaki is selling a lot of them.

I haven't seen any out that way yet. But, I go through that area all the time when going to the gym in Crofton. Love those roads out there. I make it a point to take the backroads as often as possible.

I live in a college town. Scooters and Ninja 250's EVERYWHERE. I never realized how popular they were until I got one.

When I bought my 6R last Sept '10. I was having converstation with one of the dealer at Kawasaki dealership. I asked about how many have they sold 250R's because they got a lot of those in showroom. Unlike supersport bikes which was outnumbered to 250R's in showroom. He said the previous month, they had ten 250R's sold.

No kidding, Kevin. I'm one of them. I'm riding to work every chance I get, even in the upper 30 degree mornings. It's worth it to enjoy the mid-60s afternoon commutes! Hope you've been enjoying our beautiful weather.

Hope 250s stay strong, the more interest we get in these bikes the more work we'll see the companies put into them (I hope!). I'd like to see FI for the 250 here in the US even if I don't get one.

None around here. I've only seen one other new-gen ever, and only 2 other pre-gens.
