Dennis Kirk Mirrors

I bought the mirrors off the dennis kirk site and the right mirror went on with a little resistance but with some help from my mom (yes she just happened to pull into the drive way) and the left mirror i was only able to get the top nut on that took a lot of patience and a cus word or two under my breathe. So I actually took the nut off once I figured the easiest way to get it on but I used some apoxy on the bottom part to help seal the mirror tight. and some pics before and after let me know what ya all think.
old mirrors

new mirrors

sorry i used my camera phone

Jason,

looks great!

for future reference, can you please provide a link to these mirrors so others wanting to do the same as you will be assured of the exact items you purchased?

Here is the link to the mirrors they are for R6 bikes but with some patience and time they fit our bikes. Any questions feel free to ask. Obviously you'll need to buy the right and left mirror they dont come as a pair unless you order them both.

Do the new mirrors give a better view other than your elbows? The ones on my '04 (stock) are just barely OK.

No not really this mod was mainly just for looks to get the bike to look sportier not for safety. Try mirror bar ends if your looking for a better view behind you.
