Getting to know her

Spent some more time today still getting used to the zx. You would think that getting on a 1000cc from previously riding a 600cc would not be THAT different but it is. To begin with, my CBR felt bulky and awkward to ride. It felt like I was sitting around the bike. The throttle was what I'd call "blippy" and gave me a perma grin the entire time I was on it. Fun bike, very fun.

I still kept my 250 for running around town (errands) w/out dragging out the tank (cbr).

NOW.... with the ZX, this thing is AWESOME !!!!!!!!!!!! It handles so well. In low rpm's its kinda boggy (exactly what i hoped for) but it really kicks you in the nutts at 6k and up. Revving it thumps your chest. Im surprised how much more comfortable it is over my 600. It feels like the gas tank is just laying in my lap and just natural. I could ride this bike for my around the town errand as well as commute to work on it. Should I decide to start doing tracks.. well.. this bike was built for it. I also think (many would disagree with size to bike ratio) this bike fits me better because Im 6'1 and 250lbs.

Anyways.. another pic because its still new

Sitting alongside my faithful 250r.

Awesome!!! I'm gonna go for a 600cc bike next, probably a Gixxer 600 or a Triumph Street Triple 675
