Lone Rider in CA

Hey all... Im Nate

I got my M1 license about 20 years ago n rode a scooter, goped and then a small dirt bike. When I turned 16 and got a car and got into modding cars and I let my M1 expire and havent really rode much since.. only a few times on my brother in laws R6...

I picked up a 08 Green 250r off of craigslist. It needs a little work but I figured Hey! Why not fix it up and learn the ropes on it?? So here I am

I titled myself lone rider because I didn't see anyone on the forum map that was in my area. Anyways Hi to everyone. I look forward to learning.

Sorry Nate, all the good people are on the east coast. There are a few wanabes out there but they really can't ride. They're just forum groupies.

No one in the Bay Area?? Something not right there, as I know several down there, including our wonderful, great, fantastic, amazing, all around good guy, forum admin/mod/power-that-be @Alex

Now to think of something to ask for that all the buttering up will get me.... A turn with the ban hammer?

Welcome! Surprised that you didn't see any on the map; I guess it depends how close you would consider your area? Here's what I'm seeing in the bay area map:

There area some hardcore riders in the East Bay, but they roll on 600's not 250's. I ran with a few @ Redwood rd on my miata, the way they ride, they should be on the track. There are more serious riders in SoCal though, like the Mullholand riders. Nothing beats the track though.

Welcome Nate! there lots of Ninjetters here in the SF Bay area. I've been on several Ninjette group rides and had a great time; good riders and even better people!
