At first, I thought you were a girl... J/K

I agree on pretty much everything you said in the video. They are great in wet weather, they are amazing in dry weather, they stick well. Oh, and they look really good. The only thing I'd add is that while they're not amazing cold (no tyres are, let's be honest), they do heat up pretty quickly, or so it seems to me.

That'd be one hell of a girl...hahahaha

You hit all the right points, any tire cold really can't perform well, but yeah the heat up quick.

HAhaha...thanks I was hyper on coffee so that's why I was stuttering a little.

I can't wait to get an action camera and vlog or just mess around. I want to document more of me and my bike.

Nice review, the voice wasn't bad at all!

I'm thinking of getting these tires. My IRCs have only 2k on them but as a new rider (I've put 200 on it) do you think I would be better off or safer with this tire? I don't mind spending the $ if its worth it but I am a little concerned bout traction on a new tire. Although I am taking it pretty easy as I'm learning anyway so may be a good time to wear that new tire slick off.

My IRC's have 1,200 miles on them right now. They are ok but I do not find them to be confidence inspiring. I have had some instances of rear tire slippage which provoked doing some research on the tires and available replacements.

I believe replacement of the IRC's with a quality tire is a good choice. With the weather improving I am looking to have my Rosso II's installed on 03/05.

You will probably experience less traction with a new tire initially which is a side effect from the molding process.
I think this is a good time to practice slow speed maneuvers in an empty parking lot to scrub off that new slickness.

Excellent video NDspd. Your voice is fine.

It's all up to you man, but if want to discard the IRCs and go straight to the Pirelli's it's your choice. I also did experience the rear coming out alot. Braking sucked too.

So again it's your choice.

Thanks for making the review! I will be picking this up as soon as i have some extra cash. who cars if i have thousands of miles left on the stockers

On average what is the cost of having tires mounted if you bring them the rims off already and all that

Hahaha, I was contemplating brushing it off, but I was to concentrated on the video. Not to worry it wasn't imbedded in the rubber, just stuck in the tread.

You know what I left the rock there just for someone like you to be hypnotized by it. That rock is from the fires of Mount Doom, and it seems as though it has it's hold on you.

Just kidding, I was just too lazy to mess with it.

WIKIPEDIA:

Symptoms of the disorder include excessive washing or cleaning; repeated checking; extreme hoarding; preoccupation with sexual, violent or religious thoughts; aversion to particular numbers; and nervous rituals, such as opening and closing a door a certain number of times before entering or leaving a room.

TBH, you could just be a germaphobe, but if you have any of this other stuff about repeated checking or nervous rituals, then you may have OCD. PS: I am not a medical professional

If you really are that interested, get someone to test or evaluate you for it.

I just took an online quiz (which can't be trusted) and took a look at the symptoms. It would explain my weird personality.

I suffer from a lot of the symptoms.

Washers are afraid of contamination. They usually have cleaning or hand-washing compulsions.
Checkers repeatedly check things (oven turned off, door locked, etc.) that they associate with harm or danger.
Doubters and sinners are afraid that if everything isn’t perfect or done just right something terrible will happen or they will be punished.
Counters and arrangers are obsessed with order and symmetry. They may have superstitions about certain numbers, colors, or arrangements.
Hoarders fear that something bad will happen if they throw anything away. They compulsively hoard things that they don’t need or use.

I have all of these lol!

I'll stop jacking now. Sorry NDspd

I believe it's just a "cosmetic" thing. I heard the bike can become less flickable.

There are many reasons but for me, it's a compromise of looks, performance on the street/track and price point. I run a 140 on the rear for those reasons.

so would you say its better performance having a 140?

The main reason to have 140 or 150, is that those sizes are usually the smallest size available for the best radial tires on the market. Smaller tires are usually diagonal/bias-ply tires.

It's better to have an awesome tire in an ever so slightly bigger size, than a poor tire in the perfect size

It's not just the size of the tire that's important. It's the size of the rim that the tire is meant for. Too narrow of a rim, and the tire pinches. Wider tires, radials especially, require wider rims. This tire is fine on a 3.5" rim, and it appears to be a "narrow" 140 so you're fine to use it on newgens.
