Kickstand usually. It's the lazy way.
Kill switch sometimes.
Key never.
I've never heard of a kill switch 'wearing out,' and I have had to replace an ignition (key) switch. The contacts wore...

But every generation has had one constant...
"Kids these days are stupid."
Same thing our parents said about us, and theirs about them, and the ones before that.

"Old...

I fit in better with Cantankerous old Farts
250.org is certainly more old-gen, but that's what I got.
On the whole they are a bunch of fine people. They have a fine tech section, and they do expect users to at least try to find answers for...

Go Big Red
I'll give a thumbs up to this one. They get hundreds of hours of use every winter, and with minimal maintenance. We average 200+ inches of snow, and these things rock.

The key for now is swappable batteries
We need some standard sizes established so some organization can begin to offer a battery swap service. Drive in, instant swap, drive out with a "full tank" or "full bank" if you will.
Need to...

We used to have a saying...
When I was trying to sell cars at a high-pressure dealer..(yeah, trying...I was terrible!)
"You can spend a little too much, but if you get what you want, you're just out a few bucks...but if you...

People are funny huh?
It's not as if they are expressing any real concern, usually. Seems some folks just can't resist an opportunity to put someone down....
Them:
"You know those things are dangerous...."
Me:...

I guess
If more loud pipe people wore hi-vis clothing, there would be more validity to the "Loud Pipe Save Lives" theory. My feeling is, if you are wearing a novelty helmet, leather vest, and jeans, you...

Here's another observation
I drive through about 25 miles of National Park every day, and very often after dark. There are tons of animals...deer, skunks, bobcats, foxes, bears, owls, even the very occasional puma.
When...

Put two grand in my hand, I'll give it back when you and the bike return intact.
I guess among my friends, I kinda know who's got the cash, and the sense of responsibility to make things right if...

Anecdotes do not denote Universality
Once I almost stepped off a curb into traffic, but the squealing of someones brakes made me jump back on the curb.
Does that mean the squealing of brakes saves lives?
Well, maybe this once,...

Clunky Shifting
May be remedied by pre-loading the shift lever before pulling the clutch.
This works great on my 07, may work on new-gens.
Just the tiniest bit of pressure on the lever, not a lot, and the...
