Does this sound normal or are all non metallics supposed to feel the same way?

You have to bed the pads into the rotor by aggressively stopping for a while_- without locking up this is to wear pads into the rotor and deposit some pad material into the rotor. Pedal should fee better after bed in.


If you do lock up the rear, ride out the skid -otherwise you will risk a high side crash.
