1st season rider
Hello all,
I have a 2009 Kawasaki Ninja 250r that I've customized to hold twin Ninja swords out of the rear fender. I'm a 1st degree black belt in Ninjutsu and have always been a fan of the Ninja family of bikes since I was young. I'm into all things Ninja, be it martial arts, manga or anime, so when I purchased my first bike it just had to be a Kawasaki Ninja! I've been riding for one season now, last year I rode from May to the end of November, put the bike away until January, took it in for service and started this season in February. Rain, snow, hot, cold, wet, dry, it didn't matter. I've rode through it all. I do own a car, but I loved riding so much I took the bike out through almost any condition everyday. I'm an everyday commuter so I'm riding almost all season, I'm sure I'm not the only one out there. |

Watch out for the cops though. They might not like those swords hanging off the bike. I think they're great though!

Thanks for the welcome everyone!
I haven't had any issues with police because of the swords. (So far) I riden through PA, MD, and DE had cops tailing me, look right at me, sit in traffic next to and haven't had a problem. I have been pulled over for running a red light and speeding twice though, both warnings. Both times swords were not present so that could make a difference. The swords are for cosmetic effect. They are held in place by the cargo net and two strong bungie cords with plastic hooks to hold them in place. I've had hooks break, but the swords themselves have never fallen out. Also, no I don't ride in full Ninja gear all the time or with sandals on, that was for an anime convention and that was my cosplay. |
