Cool just got my bike.. :)

So toda i went in and signed off all my papers and got my brand new 2010 Ninja 250! sexy red
im so excited to have my bike! it was such a blast to ride home!!!
but embarassing thing happened...i was leaving the dealership and 20seconds after i got on the bike i got super nervous and let out the clutch too fast with the nice combo of too much throttle! bike shot a couple feet in front of me and fell over....GEEEEEZ! i was SO SO SO embarassed and its still bugging me now i feel so stupid and know it was such a newbie thing to do....only damage is broken blinker on the right side and a small small small paint chip...but the embarassment is scarring. but im happy to do it now and get it over with...because you are supposed to live and learn right?? well...there is my embarassment/excitment in whole!

Well congratulations on the bike, and on getting your first drop out of the way lol

Think of it like this...your bike has more character than the other brand new Ninja 250's that have never been dropped

My brothers friend got a 2011 Brand new Hayabusa as his first bike. Within three days he low sided it and gave it some "character". No fairings on the left side and frame was damaged. But, he kept riding it. He didn't know that their were six gears or a clutch. He thought the clutch was his rear brake and his rear brake was the kick starter. He'd always stall the bike at lights so he would constantly hold the starter...does that even work? Anyway, he's dumb.

Greetings from LA!
Damn I have a similar story to yours. The very 1st night I got my bike I also gave it some "character" lol. No damage to the paint or body. Just a minor scrape on the plastic side of the mirror and a broken blinker
Frame Sliders coming up! Lol

Welcome.

Beautiful bike, and yes... "live and learn". We're all silly humans fumbling around on this planet trying to do our best. Anyone who thinks they're somehow infallible and beyond mistakes like the one you made, are a little more silly than the rest of us.

Hope not to many people were watching!
