Welcome Super Ninja!

Try.... http://www.instructables.com/id/Inst...cle-alarm-int/

Most wiring and colors are the same within the Kawi family.

Get rid of that ZX14. Everyone knows the 250 is faster (in the turns). I'll give you $500 bucks for that problem child (ZX14).

Welcome. Do you want the remote start? Or are you just trying to get the alarm to work?

The Hyabusa is still the king of speed. I love the 14 but they don't go 250mph.

I have the remote start just having wiring issues, it will crank over but won't fire up.

Far as The king Hayabusa has been retired you better check your stats.

I race the mile. The Hyabusa rules land speed. We call them "me too" bikes. You ride a Busa? "Me too"
But the 14 is coming along.

Will it fire up remotely with the key on?

I haven't tried that just trying to get the remote start with out the key to work there has got to be a wiring diagram some where out there or just the knowledge of some one to tell me the answer to this problem.

Welcome to the forum, but I don't think there is really many people if any others on this forum that actually own a zx14.

i think you mean the XR1200 is the harley of sportbikes. and its pretty awesome too. i'd totally rock one but nobody ****in sells them here anymore. you have to find a used one basically. i guess they still sell pretty well in euro markets though.

I am building a new project. But not a 14. Bill Warner went 311 on his Busa. So it's been done.

You're likely asking the wrong forum for help on a bike that most people don't ride here. Try a zx forum yet? For general info, the key is required to be in the on position for the electronics and ECU to crank over the engine. The on position closes the ignition circuit. Since it doesn't seem like you know much about installing a remote start, I would really advise getting some local help from an installer. You can get it to remote start without the key, but it usually requires for you to install a relay that latches and allows the ignition circuit to complete.

Will it work if you pull in the clutch? Maybe you need to bypass the clutch switch.

The ZX14 is one of my dream bikes and I don't even know why I like it soooo much. The modded ZX14's and Hayabusas (especially with chrome, weird paint jobs and extended swingarms) look ugly.

I dont think I will ever own a ZX14 though coz I would be scared to go over second gear … lol

He said it's cranking, but not turning over. If the clutch switch was preventing ignition, I don't think it would even crank... However, that's just coming from my limited experience with the 250 and the R6.

Yea you would. That is the problem with these types of bikes, the power and speed is intoxicating.
