Greetings to all. Im a new motorcycle rider. I purchased a 2006 Ninja 250r about a month ago. Love the bike, enjoy riding it, but having some issues. I found this site while doing a search for similar problems to what Im experiencing. From what Ive read here, there are a lot of people with really good ideas and helpfull advice. Ive seen quite a bit so far and am looking forward to learning more as I go. Its nice to meet all of you.

Hello Motofool, Im having some very strange clutch issues. Im not understanding whats happening. I just posted a thread in Tech Talk section describing it. Basically, the clutch will not disengage. Ive done all that I can according to everything Ive seen and read. Ive replaced the friction and steel plates, springs and pressure plate bearing. Aligned everything correctly and torqued to spec. Two oil changes, two different oils. After reassembly of the clutch both times Ive been in it, everything works fine. Ride it for a mile or two, im right back to no disengagement. Im loosing my mind on it.

It's got to have something to do with the cable, I am thinking. The friction zone of the lil ninjas is kinda small. If your cable adjustments are way out of spec, it can do that. On a bike that is not familiar to me, I normally start with the adjustment fully tight and go down until I find the friction zone.

I am crossing my fingers for you that it's that simple.
