front m/c diaphragm

got a replacement OEM diaphragm from bikebandit. i notice it does not have the matching relief molds to fit into the cap like the original. calls to BB just suggest returning it, but why would K have made this part without it.001aa.jpg

Looks like it will work just fine to me, that part is made to fit many other bikes I'm sure. The rubber should deform and fill that tiny gap no problem

At the very least test it, but if it leaks under pressure, I would not use it. Have you looked up the actual Kawasaki part number? I don't have a link off hand, but I know Parts Zilla has a good breakdown of actual part numbers and genuine parts.

That will vent to the top of the gaskets so gasket will be able to be sucked down.

Agree w/ Crazy Winston: those slots are vents.
