Just an FYI... the bathroom/shower building will likely not be ready for us. I believe it's all complete, but there is some septic connection issue.

There are lots of port o potties for use, and as for showers I just bring a bathing suit, shampoo, and 2 gallons of water... and that has been working fine all year.

Or you could just stand out in the rain on Tuesday afternoon.

It's flip a coin at the moment --- 50/50 T-storms. Current plan is to put the street tires in the car and make sure the raingear gets packed just in case. Hopefully, if it does rain, it'll be brief and dry fast.

Crossing fingers, toes and other appendages.

I wouldn't sweat weather forecasts this far out... not to mention that a chance of rain means somewhere and sometime... could be 10 miles from the track at 9pm that day.

Having said that... the track has good wet weather grip (good grip in general), so a few warm and wet sessions is not the end of the fun.

Oh! The bikes in the trailer are as follows;

1 08 r6, 1 07 cbr 600rr, 1 #511 and 1 yami pw80.

Will have a set of rains for a 600 + the #511 but will not need them.

Just pulled the stock rearsets off the wifes bike and will bring them with me. I am putting the new rearsets on now!

apparently i ordered a 17 tooth front sprocket. Oh well

Both bikes are ready to go though, buttoned them up last night, re wired the trailer hitch this morning and had to buy more straps since i never had to trailer 2 bikes before

Picked up the trailer at padre's house today then mounted the rearsets, 14t sprocket and shaved the seatfoam on the wifes bike. I will be getting my bikes ready tomorrow.

Quick question: I got the new rearsets on and adjusted but I cant get 2-6. N and 1st are smooth but she dont seem to want to shift up past N. I tried starting the motor and using the clutch but I did not try to ride it yet. Just looking for ideas on what to try tomorrow.

I learned that one the hard way

my handlebars haven't arrived yet, it's USPS so there's no hope of them arriving tomorrow

if they arrive monday I may be in for tuesday but that's the only way this is happening. There's no way my bike would pass tech without handlebars. My fingers are crossed that I'll be able to do it

update: I checked the tracking number and the bars were forwarded to VA from my hometown...

I'm likely screwed, this has happened in the past and it took two weeks for the book to get back here under priority 2 day shipping

Still holding out hope to be able to ride tuesday though and I am very prepared to make the vehement phone call needed to make it happen

I'll see if I can get the pregen track worthy tomorrow with a stop at the parts graveyard that has bars but it needs a few other things that I may be able to find.

the 300 is not track worthy at the moment because it needs the woodcraft riser bar mounts and it is definitely the preferred ride since that's what I've been racing and riding for the last while

This place is freakin' awesome. Massive elevation change, big long turns, a real flow to it. A "right proper race course" as one well-known commentator likes to say.

My wife will only be riding Monday so we can pull the stock bars from her 2012 ninja 250 for you to use on your 300 on Tuesday if necessary. Let me know if this will help.

I have the stock 250 bars as well you can have if they fit. I switched to woodcrafts and i never sell or throw things out.

Ant, your wife cant get 2-6 because the bike isnt moving

(thats my guess) These bikes wont let you go through the gears otherwise. Take it for a spin and it should be fine. I think its becuase of the positive neutral finder.

update: stock to stock pregen bars do not fit on a 300

however, I got sketchy running so I have a bike

all the pregen 250 needs is a new aftermarket exhaust that won't drag on the ground. This'll be fun running the thing on stock exhaust again. About to switch the 250 to gp shift and am planning to ride tuesday (can't do both days regardless) so I may still be able to get the 300 out there if the woodcraft parts arrive on monday
