That said, pretty sure based on our previous conversations on the subject, alex.s has zero interest in a tC. Just not his style from what I gather. PS: the OG tC (2005-2010) is definitely not a Corolla. The later generations share a platform with the Corolla, but the original car did not. |

starting to think i should just finance a new car. every car i find has some deep rooted issue that someone has tried very hard to cover up... would appreciate the warranty and peace of mind of a new car.

CarMax near me has new Scion iA's for $14,745 with manual transmission. And 0% financing right now. Automatic trans are $15,820.
That's making me think about getting another Scion. |

Try Carmax or Costco auto, maybe? I liked my experience with Carmax and got my car from there. No haggling or dealer bullshit either.

I actually had a shim to shove between the pads but even so when I put the wheel back on in would drag just slightly and loud enough to drive me insane.

I never saw reason to have car payments.
All my cars are owned free & clear, most cost less than my bicycle, since I try to spend as little time in cars (traffic) as I can... since traffic is where you spend most of your time in it anyway. |

Every person's situation is different so this may only be the way we look at it. You may have a nice cushion and have a good financial back bone. Some do, some don't, some work hard to be able to hold on to what they got and others push for greed.
