Hi there! New DC Metro area rider!
Hey Everyone!
Excited new owner of an Black '08 Ninja 250R! (since 9/10/11) I took the MSF course this weekend... it wasn't exactly pretty, but I passed! I've been dying to get to the DMV since we got the bike home, but we finally made it today and I was able to take my 1st ride on my Ninja. So easy to handle! I'm so happy that I read so much about what type of bike to start on, and that I took the advice to start small. I'm excited to be able to get some practice and real world experience in. My husband has an '08 CBR600RR (prior, a '05 GXS-R 600) and has been riding for about 5 years. I guess I got tired of riding two-up! I can't believe I'm a biker chick now! LMAO. Who would have thunk it! I still haven't told my dad yet... Pleased to meet everyone here!!! |

Thanks Jamesio! I haven't ventured out of my parking lot yet, LOL, but I already spied at least one Ninja! I'm thrilled to join the club.
I saw in your intro thread that you were asking about local twisties This might help... http://my350z.com/forum/mid-atlantic...-va-md-dc.html |

Sure did You should have heard her when I told her I was in a motorcycle accident Bike is pretty beat up, seems to be only cosmetic tho. And my left foot might be broken somewhere but am still unsure. I had all gear on tho. The handroids really did a great job.

Glad you're okay And Ohhhhhh I've been there hehehe let me tell you it wasn't good lol she was like !@#!#@$#???????. And I'm not even gonna tell you what to do with your foot cause I'm pretty sure she got that covered haha
I also have the handroids and it's awesome! Its lil cousin the teknic with the knox sliders saved my hands before, I'm very blessed I got them, cause I can't imagine what the damage is gonna be if I didn't. Ride safe bro and let me know when you're gonna set up your Gride. |

Hi Lexis/Reid!
If you're still in the DC metro area, my wife and I just joined Ninjette and are looking for some more riders to get to know in the area. If you're up for it we know the weather is starting to look better and we'd love to meet up with some other riders! Feel free to shoot me a message at any point! SigEp/Dave |
