I don't have photoshop anymore otherwise I would try it, but what about blacking out the lower section of fairing since you are blacking out the wheels. Similar to how the red bikes lower fairing is. I think it makes it look a tad more modern while keeping the old school paint.

The red wheels IMO are ugly on both bikes.The black wheels are better looking.
Go with the white if you like that better, but like in your past pic, keep the lower part of the bike black. And take off the lower Ninja decal.
