just bought and 89 ninja 250 don't know much about them yet but I will gotta get it running but got a great deal on it. Gonna learn how to fix everything and then how to ride and then pass it on to my fiance as her permanent bike. So I am sure I will be around for a while.

Hey welcome aboard Polecat. Congrats on the new to you bike you picked up.

Of coarse riding it will be most of the fun, how ever I have found that once I started learning all of the ins and outs, that half the fun was coming from turning a wrench as well! These bikes are so easy to work on. Make sure to post any questions that you may have and I as well as others will help lend a hand to ya if needed to get that baby going. Take care and be safe out there.

Scotty, I think I saw your bike at PNC/Dorothy Lane in Centerville last Thursday afternoon. Wife didn't realize it was a 250 with the paintjob/graphics.

That cat is viscious though. Last time I came over I tried to let her sniff me but she tried to attack my non-threatening hand instead. I pulled it back too quickly for her and gave up but she came around from behind and sunk her teeth into my elbow, drawing blood. I still feel it and that was a week ago!
