Yesterday (10/6) during morning rush hour, Connecticut Merritt Parkway southbound between Fairfield and Westport.

2010 blue. Tall rider, black textile jacket.

Not lanesplitting but slaloming through heavy/moving traffic at the pace of traffic plus at least 10 mph. Marginal safety IMHO.

Red 2008-2009 newgen in the Arbor Walk shopping center on the corner of Braker and Mopac, in front of Tino's Greek Cafe and Potbelly's. Rider was wearing a helmet, red t-shirt, and jeans.

Blue new-gen going north on Burnet Road around the Northcross Center around 12pm. Rider was ATGATT.

Blue new-gen at a red light next to me on the corner of 69th Street and CPW. Waved at him and he nodded at me. Nice color, man.

While putting on my helmet and gloves, two young children made their parents stop so they could watch me go. I waved to say bye and the little boy asked if I was going to put down my visor before going. Cute kids.

In traffic an elderly gentleman said he liked my boots. I said Thank you.

It was a nice day for a ride.

Green, black, and white new-gen at the REV'IT sample sale in Brooklyn (on Conover Street, across from the additional Fairway parking lot. Red/maroon Ninja 500, same location.

Black new-gen on 42nd and Vanderbilt (NYC). I am so sure it had the Ninja 600 flush turn-signals. The bike had something bungied to the rear seat.

If this is someone here, could you please confirm if you do have the flush signals? Thank you.

black new gen with a yoshi...you could hear her two blocks away....made a right turn from 14st on to 2nd ave... up to 16st made a left... she made the turn in front of me...gave her a thumbs up... she was an african american... you go girl!!!!

Seen a red new-gen in the Northridge ACC parking lot on fridays for the past few weeks. woman rider, never got a chance to talk to her though as she scuffled off to class before i could get over there :P
There's also a green new-gen there with loads of stickers all over it, from parts brands to a ninja turtle

i've seen both a red pre-gen and a red new-gen parked at camden county college out side the sim center (in the "no parking" box that we all park our motorbikes in)

Saw 2 red new-gens today and they were around the same area at the same time... around 2 pm on the queensboro bridge NYC..

First rider had a backpack and (i think) a silver helmet..bike had aftermarket exhaust...he was getting on the bridge..

2nd rider I didnt see clearly but I know he had a red new-gen too...he was riding on the opposite way..on the bridge..

haha I've seen you and now you've seen me. I saw one bike on the opposite side but it was a big cruiser. On the way to the bridge a 250 cc cruiser pulled up next to me and we talked for a bit. On a side note, may I ask what you thought of the exhaust sound? I put one of the baffles in, but don't like the sound as much as without the baffle. It is quieter though. hehe

I often see a gray pre-gen on my morning commute: gets on southbound 280 at Edgewood in San Carlos and gets off on Page Mill Road.

If it's got blue wheels, it's me. I was all over there daily because it's where I live and worked, but I no longer work off Genetic Center/Sequence so I'm no longer running up and down the length of it every day, but it is my primary transportation so you'll see it around a lot!

I was just reading about 'em. Tragic. I hope they find the Civic driver. I think it was actually in Imperial Co but they were still close enough that they were flown to an SD hospital.

I thought that might have been you at Mira Mesa/Black Mountain yesterday, but I don't think I've been near Dowdy in a few days (I know for sure I passed it on the 10th). I might have taken the Miramar exit a couple times since due to the Carroll Canyon Rd exit closures and/or to get gas, but that doesn't venture very far (Kearny Mesa/Black Mountain).

I love Cycle Sector BTW... especially their Excitebike-inspired logo (sportbike version of the classic off-road sprite artwork). I had to buy a couple T-shirts! They were the only place I could find that could order the right JT sprockets for the J-series Ninjette and I got my rim protectors there too. They call me for special orders and don't charge me shipping when I pick it up in-store, even though it cost them just the same as having it drop-shipped to me as if ordering online.

hmmm, the one I saw was blue and the rider had blue gear and blue rim stripes ? I seen a green one in the area now and then too, haven't seen a red one yet (I love red )
