Has anyone had their seat modified...

by Spencer's Motorcycle Seat Mods?

The stock seat is harder than any bike I've had and I'm considering this.

What I did is documented in this thread check it out, If you want to do it by yourself. Or you can buy a corbin seat. They are custom built and most people enjoy them and say they are more comfortable

A guy at one of the local upholstery shops does bike seats on the side. I had extra padding put in mine and re-covered. The seat sits a little bit more level and does not push me into the tank as much.

Yes I think I'll send the seat to Spencer's. Even with shipping both ways, it's less than half the cost of the Corbin. I've got another bike to ride 'till the seat gets back.
