Hello Ninjette! Pix inside

Names Justin, From Los Alamitos, California. Heard about this website from Kevin at the Cycle Gear bike night in Fullerton. I am with OcMoto.com and have been meaning to join here on the 2fiddy nation! For the past year I've been doing a bunch of research on a great first bike to get. After all the reading I did, came up with the decision for getting a Ninja 250. Heard nothing but good things about the bike, and I am very happy with my investment.

Got my 2012 Candy Apple Green 250 on August 30

When I got her

Modifications I've done

And the bad news... Last weekend, 10/08/11, went on a ride with OcMoto riders up to Mulholland Highway, and went down. Low sided the bike and she's all scratched up now. Good news is I had all my gear on, leathers, boots gauntlet gloves, so I walked off without a scratch

Most recent Pix

Missing Footpeg

I am now in the process of getting her back in shape. I would appreciate any help I could get! One thing I know I need ASAP is a left foot rest assembly. If you notice in the pictures the left foot peg snapped completely off the assembly. Rearsets are going to be the replacement, but until then just to get riding again an OEM foot peg will do.

Again, Hello to all

Phew! quite the introduction...

-Justin

Thank you for the greetings! The past couple day's I've been on ebay looking for new plastics. The thought of going back to the dealer and ordering these new fairings, makes me wanna shoot myself thinking about the outrageous prices their going to charge me. I love the color, its rare, not a lot of bikes on the road with this color

My favorite ninja 250 color..what a shame and your choices will likely be to pay full retail for a new set or ebay something. I have actually had good luck with chinese ebay fairings...but I had slightly lowered expectations too. Someone might even paint them in candy apple. That mulholland seems to be the lowside capital of the world. Did they catch it on video? I know that camera crew seems to get thousands on video.

Nope, no footage. I was just making my way from the bottom of the run, didn't even make it to the turn that they were shooting on.

Welcome! Glad you found us. She really doesn't look bad but I hope you get her back how you want her soon.

How much for your rearset adjusters and can I have the rubber piece from your old shift pedal?

Thank you all for the greetings. Haven't taken the MSF course yet. I regret not doing that before I had the bike. I was putting it off for too long.

CZroe, Once I get new rearsets for the bike, I'd be glad to sell those too you if your local!

As a fellow 2012 Green owner, welcome! I really wish you'd taken the class first for the now-obvious reason. Glad you came through the other school (of hard knocks) OK.

I hear ya on that one... Every time I open my garage and see the damage my heart drops. It would be awesome if I could keep this color because there aren't a lot of these on the streets right now so having this rare color definitely feels good.

Yes. This is a new color for the 250 of 2012. Kawasaki took this Candy green from last years ZX-14 model, and boy it looks great
