Slip on

i have a black series 2 brothers slip on.. would this be the reason why i cant go past 90MPH? would i have to get my bike re jetted?

have the same exhaust but I regularly get up to 95 mph. not an expert on the bike (yet lol) so can't tell you what the issue might be

We just put a Yamaha R6 muffler on my wife's Ninjette and lost about three MPH. She says it will barely top 101mph (not by speedo, but by GPS- the stock speedo reads higher). I plan to rejet the bike shortly.

More later on the R6 muffler swap, what a pain in the titanium ass....

Want to see! Pics plz! I will have an R6 can this winter when I go full exhaust on mine. I wandered if anyone ever tried to put on a 250.

Putting a exhaust on without re-jetting (or re-tuning if you have fuel injection) is major NOOB status to me.

The bike is set for the stock exhaust from the factory. If you want the bike to run properly (better) with aftermarket exhaust you need to adjust accordingly.

My bike is in the shop right now for full exhaust and re-jetting.
