Why isn't this available for motorcycle helmets??!!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p9jvnqKw2D8

This link is probably better idea of what it is ---> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hlwZW...feature=fvwrel

I am thinking about picking this up and seeing if i can't jerry rig it into an old helmet, I would love to see my revs, and speed in my helmet, i hate looking down.

But seriously take this technology and gear it towards motorcycles with more motorcycle oriented data, i figure it would sell like hotcakes.

This is currently available for ski googles, they just need to make a helmet that you can mount this in and change the data it gives you, from things like, Jump time, to angle lean, that would be pimp.

I personally think it would be too distracting from you focusing on the road. A stat says 90 percent of accidents for motorcycles happen because of the car in front of them. I'm afraid it would go up if bikers started wearing things like that. But that's just my 2 cents.

its in your peripheral, which IMO is better than looking down at the tac.

Coming up to a sharp turn, need to know exactly how fast you are going, don't want to take your eyes of the road, it would all be right there. RPM, Speed, Gear you name it

This might be a good use for Google's Project Glass, and combined with something like ZP dashboard.

the bad part of the recon is that it heats up so you would have to find a way to keep it cool and where to put all the units and the computer box.

Hahaha, Those suckers! That's such a waste of money. On my ninja, all I have is a $20 dollar bicycle speedo to look at. And I rarely look at it.
