Yes, who's gonna pay for it?

Saw one in person at the dealership today. It is one badass bike. It looks amazing in that matte white paint.

Hawt.

I hate the way that guy rides both his 250 and 636 with respect to traffic. You can dodge bullets/cars all you want but someday your luck will run out.

I like how the new bike has the tail uber high. It makes it really look like it's standing on its nose and aggressive. Kawasaki scored one in my books in the looks department.

Seems more likely to me that the extra low rev power he feels has more to do with gearing than the extra 36CC.

It's the extra 1CC. Many people seem to think this bike has 36 more CCs than the regular 600 but they are wrong. It has 37 more CCs. The 600 has 599 CC.

Seriously though, my coworker considered buying it but he ended up with a 600 because the dealer would not budge on the price of a 636.

I imagine the low end power is even better on the Triumph, which is my choice.

Any way you look at it, the 636 was a great seller, especially the 05-06 model. It's not surprising that Kawi brought it back.

I don't doubt that the extra 37 cc's make a difference in low end torque and high end power. It doesn't take much to be noticeable; look at how much better a ninja 250 feels after a pipe and jetting. It's only making a few hp and a few ft-lbs more with those mods, but we still all notice how much better it responds and pulls in certain rpm ranges.

Granted, those few hp and torques are a significantly larger percentage change on the 250, but it only takes a few to be noticeable...

So in conclusion. If I pour a few of these in my engine then my ninjette will be noticeably faster?

The only thing you've got on me is that you are the size of one of my legs. But the immense amount of power my 250 puts out more than makes up for that.

I saw the same one a few weeks ago! It's pretty amazing. All the ones the dealership had were in the "sold" section. I think it will be my next bike.
