Is it worth trying to sell an '08-'10 stock exhaust?

I just found the stock exhaust in the back of a closet. Does anyone actually look to buy these or do they just buy aftermarket? Just wondering if I should try to sell it or toss it.

I'm not in the market at the moment, but I know that if my wreck had trashed my exhaust, I'd be looking for a stock one. I personally don't care for the noise the aftermarket pipes make.

Never hurts to try.

I can't comment so much on the American market but for the UK market stock bikes have a higher resell value than fully kitted out bikes, and lot of people will put the stock pipe on their bike and sell the after market seperatly as the bike will sell for the same with either exhaust, so people may buy this off you if they only have the after market exhaust.

On eBay they seem to go for upwards of £30 or $50 here.

Instead of wasting it and throwing it out why no take a picture and put it on craigslist? Doesn't cost you anything but 5 minutes of your time. And if no one bites post it for free + shipping in the "Free Stuff!" forum.

Sell it if you want. Sh*t happens on bikes, save it, you just may need it again.

Considering that ads are free here and on craigslist, you don't have anything to lose by offering it up for sale.
