Lets keep this serious

Does anyone else find it awkward to fart while on their bike in full gear?

Every time that i need to cut one i need to squirm a bit and never fully feel comfortable letting it rip, it just doesn't feel right. Even while at a stop i still find it awkward to let loose.

Just let it happen bro. If it was a girl you better hold that little bastard in!

But it's a bike, it wont even know.

Also cars will just think its the exhaust smell and not your exhaust.

If you find yourself having to fart alot, definitely look into the MGP Growler, since it sounds exactly the same and mask the actual fart sound.

I'm not worried about the sound, or smell, I just find it hard to squeak them out. Be it the position or pants, IDK.

Hence i was wondering if anyone else feels the same way i do about this issue.

I kind of have to strain a bit to get them out, like when I'm constipated but I'm only trying to fart so it can be a little risky at times... I dunno if its the seating position or what.

Dont worry about farting in your leathers. No one can hear it or smell it, until you unzip them and take them off. Then that sweet fart smell, that has been fermenting, will provide that nastiest cloud of ****** smelling air you can imagine. Unless your leathers fit loose. Then the fart will creep up and come out the neck opening into your helmet, burning your eyes and making you want to puke.

It is kind of like that feeling you get when you are in the ocean and you have to pee. So you just go right? But you have to convince yourself it's ok because you body is like, NO don't do it, you still have your shorts on, there are people around. So you have to fight that to get it to flow.

no?

If you don't fart, your body will absorb the gas in your colon and release through your lungs giving you fart breath

So what you're basically trying to say is that you like peeing in your leathers... That's gross at a completely new level man... Lol

Why not just take care of business before suiting up?

Rather unexpected topic I must admit.. move to "Exhausts"

This is definitely a good idea... Getting in and out of the suit just to take a dump can be a nightmare... I mean out and in...

I't's not about taking care of business before you leave. Sometimes you just have to let loose.

At least on other person seems to know what i am talking about.

@psych0hans : unless..... portable potties! lol :P

@subxero : Well in reference to your OP i suppose if I did do that it would feel extremely awkward and nasty IMEHPO. So as to avoid any such unwelcome predicament, I make sure all things are taken care of before hand so as to avoid the need for the extra thrust while on a motorbike.

Last futzed with by aeroblade; March 29th, 2013 at 03:33 AM. Reason: I have no clue as to why I'm having a debate on farts lmao :)

Perhaps i am more gaseous than others. But as jiggles pointed out, i would not want to hold them in and get fart breath.

Thank you for having the courage to bring up such a difficult topic. It's one I've struggled with ever since I first got on a bike.

I just got my first pair of track pants and I've been afraid that had I farted I might have trouble with getting more than I bargained for.

I find it fascinating that our female members haven't contributed to this discussion.

Everyone knows ladies can drop a bomb, clear a room, evacuate a building, but their best attribute is lying about it.

Never experienced riding until last summer. So I still find /learn new things each time i ride.
Nothing is worse then having to schit and knowing your still 16 miles from your house....

Also burping in your helmet , also sucks. So does having to sneeze... Or cough....

I would contribute but I don't have leather pants.

That said, I have no problems farting while riding.
