Yeah, I agree...you don't need a generator.

If you don't have a RV/Toyhauler the following is the best damn alternative:

I kid you not, fill this puppy with ice cold water it does wonders.

I'm not that much of a princess...., at least I don't think so.... =)

But yeah, I started looking into the cost of those generators and even RV rentals. Unfortunately, I think I may just have to tough out the 102 degrees with that little battery operated mister @Nemesis suggested.

I'll have a canopy, so will have some shade. And will have plenty of water. And am trying to mentally prepare for the heat and sweat... (How do you guys do it??? haha!)

Looking forward to meeting some of you next week!

For a long while, your only toilet options was to bring your own or use the portapotty. Those portapottys were ****ing terrifying like death.

I was planning on suggesting to all of you what we often do... Before your session you walk in to the shower in full gear and soak yourself. Sometimes it helps.

Sometimes? Always!! As long as you don't mind your boots making splish splosh sounds. Or becoming 7lbs heavier all of a sudden.

ONE WEEK ONE WEEK ONE WEEK

*screaming like a little girl*

Yep. I'm excited. Let's go over what everybody needs so that we make sure nothing is forgotten.

First... read post one in this thread. Bring gear (suit, boots, gloves, back protector and helmet with visors). Make sure that your tires are good to go!

Something to wear under your suit like Under Armor. The sweat that you will inevitably be pouring makes the suit stick to you and become hard to peel off/is generally uncomfortable. Bringing a hat is also a fantastic idea for the pits.

Read post #3 regarding bike prep. I will be available to help you at the track if you need it but it's fairly simple so why not do it before hand?

Is your transportation plan all set? Do you have tie downs to safely secure your motorcycle? What time will you be arriving at the track? I will be PMing my cell phone number out to everybody so that you can contact me to find our pit. I will be there Thursday afternoon and probably quite drunk by Thursday night

BRING CASH The gate fee (to get in to the race track, everybody must pay it) is $10 for the day. On your way in to the race track stop at the club house just inside the gate to pay your gate fee and sign the waiver. If you want pictures of your track day you can pre pay at the beginning of the day for $40 for your whole days of pics. They tend to take more pictures of you if you have pre-paid. I have not prepaid and had 8 pictures of myself from the day and pre-paid and had 90+ pictures for the day. Keep that in mind.

Food/Drank. BRING. WATER. It's going to be hot and you will need it. Bring yourself something to snack on, maybe sandwiches for lunch. There is also a snack bar at the track (they are changing things, I am not 100% positive it will be open by noobie day) where you can buy food.

Chairs. You'll probably want to sit down so cover yourself! I don't know how many I will have.

@sjc88 @Raider24 @the_little_one @Darling Ninja

Are you all ready? Do you have any questions before go time? ARE YOU AS EXCITED AS I AM?!

Here's one of Max admiring his bike..Man, crash mountain is for reals! First session, I turned into 9 too early and went off road coming down turn 10, thank goodness I stayed calm and used the rear carefully to stop the bike. After that first session, I decided to follow an instructor (helps ALOT) to get a better idea and the ride was so much smoother and fun the rest of the day.

Yeah 8-9-10 can be tricky. I personally make a straight line from apex of 8 to 9 and keep it all the way on the inside. A few feet wider entry into 9 and you're dealing with a decreasing off-camber. And you gotta make it back to left on time so you don't screw up 10.

This track day was awesome! It was really nice to meet people and get to put actual faces to folks. And I thought the way Trackdaz organized everything was great! We even got to see a mock race by the new rider school students - that was pretty cool.

I wish I coulda stayed to watch Max and some others race over the weekend. (How did you all do???)

I was really nervous about getting out there, but Max was great about calming my nerves and making sure to check on me and my lines throughout the day. Thanks again for organizing all of it Max!!! I'm definitely going to try to save my pennies and try to get back out there again.

Sorry, no pics...! We actually brought a camera but was too excited through the day and forgot to take pics...

It was really nice to meet y'all.

Can't believe Chris' girl came all the way out there just to hang in the heat. And if Chris can get a girl that cute then it gives the rest of us all hope.

Thanks to everybody for coming out - I had a really fun time! Next time we'll do it in a cooler month so that it's a little easier on us and I'll get better set up so that we can cycle through some video info I'm still really bad about getting that all organized...

Hope to see you all out there soon, hit me up if you want to know the next time I'll be out there!

To answer your question Bonnie I came in second in every race!

Second to last I told you I'm actually really slow!

Was good hangin' with you guys, but whats with the fookin' times? Errey1 was slooow this weekend, (me especially). Bummed I missed Sun races, but gotta save some pennies to try to get to Round 2 (and keep wifey happy). Looked like a pretty small grid on Sun, those are fun but hopefully we don't have too many of them. . .

Already looking forward to Oct. Round. . . .
