sputter at highmid/high rpm?

whats up guys, i finally rode my bike to work yesterday (the first real test drive since i installed the jet kit and pod 15miles) and on the way there and back i noticed when im cruising at 70 holding the throttle 3/4 (i think around 8-9000 rpm) the bike is kind of bumpie almost like its a missfire or running out of fuel (full tank) and when i WOT its fine no sputter but it slow a pick up though, anything pass 6500 rpm at 3/4 throttle it acts like that. any suggestions?

btw when its at operating temp its acts like this..

and also the idle is just slightly moving around and i blip the throttle it hangs for a quick sec and drop right back to the set idle, im assuming that the mixture screws?

some more carb tuning got to be done i guess..

Pods.... jetting for pods sucks and not my strong point either but sounds lean.

What size jets did you install?
What brand of pods? K&N?
How many turns out currently on the mixture screw?

Also, I think I seen some pod jetting info here.

I'd start at 2.5 to 2.75 turns out on the mixture screws. Raise the needle 1 clip. What main are you running?

I'm currently at 4 spots from the top at the needle I'm going to move the clip to the last slot and up a jet..

If it's pulling cleanly at WOT the main is right.

Your issue is in the part-throttle area that's controlled by the needle position.

Lower the clip to raise the needle and richen the mixture.

Agree with Jay and Kevin, I think your closer than it seems, move the eclip first if WOT is good. 2.5 turns out on the mix.

Did you up your pilot jets to 40? I run 112 for mains and no shims.

Good deal - glad it's running well.

Checked out those Factory Pro idle mixture screws (http://www.factorypro.com/prod_pages/prodk04.html) - great idea, but $40 + $12 shipping is crazy...
