Autoshifter or just really good clutch work?

I've seen shifters that don't require you to hold the clutch, just shift n lift. Is this one? Or was the rider just making the RR do what it does?

Well, you can do clutchless shifts on the ninjette too, especially starting from 3rd gear. I remember reading somewhere that the R1000RR allows you to do clutchless shifting without letting go of the throttle.

With all the other goodies that come on that bike it would be hard to imagine that they would forget to add a quickshifter to the stock model

It's a quickshifter like the one in the link below. You can order it as an option for the 1000rr although I think most of them come with.

Yeah, the nitrous run he really sandbagged into final gear. Gave more camera time for the RR though.
