Socal: Angeles Crest Hwy

Here is me coming down the Crest towards Shell. I really like this section because the turns are not "turn and stand up your bike technical" kind of turns, they are what I call slow speed sweepers. I also like descending the mountain, rather than ascending. The video gets better as it progress because the road gets tighter. Look at those clouds. It definitely was a moist day.

Sounds like you've never ridden any twisties in your life. And if you have, you were probably the back marker. No offense. I always suggest people to ride their own pace.

Seems fun, but just gotta make sure you're safe. Downhill is crazy. Having it go from sunny to dark and cloudy looked sikk..

Didn't think of the mr2. Also, it's less than 3 liters. I embarrass myself.

Anyways...

Don't assume. I actually am a slow rider who pulls over for 10 times more people than I ever pass. I have probably ridden more twisties and more motorcycling miles total than you ever have or will.

I never said he was a noob. I guess this would be me assuming that "someone" is me. Right?

not that it really matters (nobody cares, probably least of all tim) but i think you actually did imply that... "Sounds like you've never ridden any twisties in your life. And if you have, you were probably the back marker."

Yup, nobody really cares but you have to understand I was talking about twisties and noob is very much what it is, a noob rider. Riding don't start in the twisties. Hell, he can be an experienced rider that don't ride twisties.

Anyways, I made some assumptions, he made some assumptions, and you made some assumptions. We can end it at that.

Right on but unless you are track only and street rider, then when are not going have any guardrails and cliffs when you want to get a little sideways? To each there own. I'll be at Streets of Willow this Sunday!!! Come join me.

No, I didn't know he races. I bet he's a fast guy with AFM or WERA. I wonder if he races those minis? They are awesome!!! I used to have an NSR50 that I raced with Al Lyons org, cmrra. Maybe he even know Vision Hayes and his pops.
