Ok...I see the better mpg with low speed riding. My fuel economy went down on the freeway by about 10mpg

2,335 miles, half of it is "parking lot" mile! I'm sure it'll be a great selling point when I sell it for a 600! HAHAHA

I bought my Ninjette last December with 23k miles on it. I now have 35.5k miles on it. Its running OK but not currently producing the fuel economy that it did earlier in the year. Some testing will tell. Happy Holidays, Merry XMAS and have a Happy New Year.

18,100~

Bought it with just shy of 16k in June.
Kind of wish I put more miles on him by now, but at the same time, I still can't afford the 18k service yet. :P

I really am not that big a doubting thomas. I was trying to Scorch into posting a pic 'cause I'd like to see a ninjette with that many miles "on the clock". If I was commuting now, I'd probably be cranking out miles in that range. 'Course, I live in the "sunny south" where year round riding is "easier"... so Kudo's to Scorch!

That's just getting warmed up, I'm doing 150 miles a day commute, 5 days a week, plus running errands on the weekends.

Got the bike in October, have about 6700 on it right now.

Hehe just rolled over 20k on mine today, didn't realize it until I got off work and checked the odo to see 20,000 perfect! got her with 6,500 still runs like day one, if not better! Unfortunately haven't been able to ride much due to a balding back tire and icy conditions lately :/ Gotta lube up my choke cable for sure though, it's really getting hard to use and is necessary in winter

Cool

Scorch: I have to compliment you, for you are the real deal! I remember seeing some of your posts from 2009 asking how long a Ninja 250 would last; if it could make 100K; how you would rack up that kind of serious miles soon, etc. etc.

And here you are at 70K+ miles. Just like you said. Well done! Hope you make 100K.

How's the cam chain on your bike (my personal hunch of the weak link). What else have you done to make it this far?

Forgive my cynicism. So often you see people asking/obsessing what is the absolutest best-est oil, or oil filter, air filter, tires, chain etc for their bike.................which they then sell after 6-8K mi.

About 8000mi on the N300 and have owned it for almost exactly a year (bought it new)
as for the frankenstein 250 track rebuild the frame/chassis has roughly 21k miles on it (about 7kmi were me) and the engine has something like 13.5kmi

I had mine for 2 years (new with 2 miles on her) give or take before it got wrecked and in that time i was between 8K and 9K i think. Not sure of the exact mileage.

The 300 is around 3+K now. Got her with 1200.

Original owner rode 1,850ish miles between Oct 2011 and May 2012 before I got my paws on her.

Picked mine up new with .7 miles. I have logged almost 24,000. I went like 1.5yrs of no riding due to military and it has 25 miles more on the speedo because the cable broke on me once.
