You may want to reconsider the 13. That will significantly shorten chain life.

not a big deal to me, not really looking for longitivtiy as much as a performance boost. also i checked www.gearingcommander.com for a reference, and it is not too bad.

Picked up my Black 2012 250R at the dealer, about 50 miles away, and it rained midway, on the freeway. It was fun though...

The oddball green on the adjuster is growing on me.

And my boyfriend make the key for me.

Took the bike out of Storage last week, did the needle shim mod and air intake snorkle removal.

Wife took it out for her first ride of the season (it's her bike), she approves of the changes. lol.

Just finished installing a Yoshimura TRC Full System CF Exhaust on my 2012 Ninja 250. Amazing how much lighter the CF canister is compared to the stock canister! Took only 2-1/2 hours to complete.

Now it's time to go for a rip!

Just only because of the new oil filtration system. The white thing is a plastic oil pickup tube with the oil filter screen built into it.

Compared the 250 guts to the 300 guts. Only significant finding to me is that I won't able to use the 300 crankcase :/

Well sad to inform yall that I sold my bike yesterday. After roughly 7 months of riding I've decided it has served its purpose well in teaching me the fundamentals of riding. I'm currently in talks with 2 local sellers so I'm either getting a 06' CBR 600rr or an 04' R6. Thank you to this forum for all the great threads and wealth of info introducing a new rider to the lifestyle. Eventually my wife is gonna want to start riding and I know exactly what bike she's getting, Ninja 250r or 300!

Ended up with the R6. Guy wanted $3000 and I offered $2400 Wow the power difference is pretty significant if I may add. And the seat position seems way more aggressive. Coming from a 250 I'm kinda scared actually Wish me luck and thanks once again to all of you.

congrats on the buy, the power difference is substantial but once you adapt you'll likely love the extra power. Personally, I know I would love the top end power of an R6 or any 600 really until I adapt to it.

Put the front and rear SS brake lines on and covered them in some tech flex for added color.
Going to get some other colors to cover the speedo cable, clutch cable and some odds and ends on the bike.
