It could miss us.

Kids schools are closed today from less than an inch last night. If we get the 2-3 feet they are predicting they will be out all next week as well.

And i could hit the lottery.

I remember when i was a kid and we moved from NJ to VA Beach. the idea of the area shutting down for a inch of snow was hard to comprehend.
We found it very amusing.

I moved from Minnesota (where school was closed 2 1/2 days between Kindergarten and graduating High School) to downtown DC in 1983.

That winter I saw a guy on Connecticut Avenue in a snowstorm, slide to a stop at a red light. When the light turned green he stomped on the gas, spun his tires for 20 seconds, shut his car off and walked away leaving his car in the left lane of traffic.

This area is insane in the snow.

Lets give this a bump. Next week we have a 70 degree day in the forecast so i'm planning to get out.

Should we have a fresh challenge?

Yep, the time has expired.

Your bike near a water tower.

Bonus points if it says something cool or has an interesting picture or shape.

Happy riding!

Rode around all day, had a great ride with my daughter exploring some back roads, ended up an hour and a half away at an Irish pub for dinner then rode home on the interstate. Best I could find was the back end of a train, and a stationery steam engine.

Your motorcycle with a train engine was the challenge. This one was killing me because if the weather is nice I ride the bike to work, if it's not nice I ride the train, but the bike doesn't go to the train station during the week, and the Train sure isn't coming to the bike.

Today was raining in the morning and I took the train, but it was 73 and sunny on the way home, so after dinner I ran back out to catch the last train.

I got it.

Next challenge, your bike with a school bus.
