Killer price on the back protector. We wants deals too, Ghostt!
I think the only gear (vice parts) I've bought since my last post was a REV'IT! Cyclone 2 H2O Rain Jacket. Packs up nicely in even my smallest backpack (22L REI Stuff Daypack), and does what it claims on the tin when worn over my existing jacket. I'd recommend it.

Finally got myself some proper riding pants - a pair of Bilt Iron Workers Steel jeans.
Plus I got some Qwi nerve protector gloves, since I was starting to have numbness issues in my hands from the vibration of the bike. I have to say, these really work - I was expecting them to not, especially for the price. But they really do make a huge difference. Got the spandex top ones, probably going to invest in some gauntlet-type ones for colder days/more protection. And a Schampa helmet skirt. Not sure about this one: it sure keeps my neck warm and does keep out a little more wind noise, but turning my head becomes quite the chore while wearing it.

I completely block wind, so you put your jacket underneath and add mid layer if you need it. I rode with it in temperature down to low 40°, I don't feel wind getting in, but I wear warm layer under my motorcycle jacket. |

So after losing a good amount of weight i found i needed a smaller jacket. My XL Joe Rocket Cleo was way too floppy and driving me nuts. So we hit up Revzilla in Philly and i found this Olympia Switchback 2 in large that fit me like a glove! Very flattering to the full figured or curvy ladies. Best fit over the hips i've ever found!

They have to poop before they go home? Huh. I'd probably just wipe the kid's butt with a warm towel, like you do with kittens that are separated from their mom too early.

Got a slightly used pair of Stylmartin Indian Boots. I had been watching these for a while. Nice looking but with some protection. I couldn't make myself buy them at the $285 asking price but I managed to snag a pair off eBay for $90. Score!
After a closer look at them I think they are over priced at MSRP. The leather is nice but not the toughest I've encounterd. It already shows a fair amount of wear and scuffing. I don't see these holding up well to long term use. The sole is hanging tough though. The armor could be more substantial around the ankles as well. With thicker leather and armor these could look just as nice looking but more protective. I'll keep these and use them for short rides when I'm meeting people but they aren't a high mileage everyday boot.

Bought a new helmet to replace my Scorpion that aged-out -
Like all my recent gear purchases, I bought it from Riders Discount through a forum where I am a member and they are a vendor. If you are planning to buy any gear, and are a member on a forum where they are a vendor, PM them for a price. They absolutely killed the online prices for this helmet. Not even close. |

Thanks. The RPHA series is their top of the line. This one has the drop-down sun visor. They have a more race version with different graphics and a slightly different shape. This is the street version.
So far I'm impressed with the finish and overall quality. The Scorpion that it replaced was about 10 years old, and held-up well. I was looking for some simple graphics, but what I saw from Shoei, Scorpion, Bell, and Arai was just to swirly/tribal for me. We'll see how this one does in the long run, but it looks and feels pretty solid. |

Checked the model at motosport.com, since they support Malaysian's Ringgit currency conversion in their shopping cart. The price is way... way.. cheap if you get the RPHA models here in Malaysia.
But the shipping cost is the same if you get it here but excluding the import duty excise.. Conclusion : Get it here although not many motorcycle dealers carry this brand.

Just had these delivered. Over the years I feel I have depended on others for tools a bit too much, so I am building my trailer tool box up. I will do a full review on these, because my stuff has to work, work right, work well and work fast. If these don't make the cut, you will know exactly why.
