Excellent work! Looks like you got it running. Nice headlight and front number plate-like windshield.

Speaking of mice, I had a field mouse living in the frame of an older 6R I had. It completely messed up the wiring harness. Had to completely change out the whole wiring harness, that really sucked. Check your wires for damage.

A clean bike is a happy bike, a happy bike will make for a happy rider.

Since you are thinking of a track day sometime, lemme throw this on ya. When you roll up to have your bike teched, what is the fastest way to get all kinds of "extra" attention to details by the person doing your tech? Easy... show up with a dirty bike.

I kinda dig the cyclops look.

Mice love wires in places you can't get to. lol Especially in boats. That airbox nest reminds me of the one I found in my old HD many years ago. I been lucky and haven't had one like that in a while.

A zip tied stock one lol

I plan to use a phone mount for it eventually. Plan is that it'll go in the steering stem hole.

Also planning to eventually get rid of the ugly stock coolant reservoir. Currently doing a lot of waterproofing to the wires. Some other mods in mind too. This bike is still too stock.

When are you boys going to make it to the NYsaftey track?

they have been very busy there this year.

I wish I was still in NY. I totally wouldve shot out and rode w u guys.

I used to pass your area a lot on my way down to NYC and up into the Adirondacks.

I would be doing a lot of motorcycle camping this year if I was still up state.

I am camping out by Carolina beach this summer.

ride safe.... Your bike looks way better than my zip tied skittle bike used too.

That's because I didn't take a close up hahaha I love ZIPTIESSSSSSS

My friend can't make it out, but I'm definitely heading up this month. And they don't seem busy. They have empty spaces every weekend.

haha - they might not seem busy... but last year they were shut down in the middle of legal battles.... so seems really busy to me especially now that big bikes can make it out on the track.

well then caption the pics mang! I have no idea.

I mean... as wrong as he was to cut you off, you also were in the wrong. Lane sharing in the US, outside of CA, IS definitely illegal. Doesn't matter if the cops waste the time to pull you over or not when you pass them, you shouldn't do it. Just wait your turn so you don't keep getting cut off. The more traffic you piss of, right or wrong, the better your odds of getting injured in an accident. No reason to tempt those odds. If you were moving fast enough past stopped traffic that cutting you off was attempted murder, you were moving too fast. Don't be Brian.

Also, I approve of the purple. Seems like a popular paint color combo.

I had enough room to stop, but I guess cutting off in my book just means he took my lane or whatever. I understand the legality but the point is he should call a cop. Being a vigilante is illegal isn't it ?

My suit is white green and purple

You're correct, two wrongs here did not make a right. You were both wrong. But you initiated, therefore the responsibility lies with you to just not be lane splitting unless you're somewhere where it is an accepted practice. You're putting yourself in unnecessary danger by doing so. And for what? Saving 5 minutes of waiting in traffic? Not worth it.

I completely understand. But I just don't think he should have. If I see someone speeding or doing something illegal, I'm not getting involved, unless someones life is on the line. I don't bother people driving and talking on the phone because it will end badly. What if the guy caught me on a bad day and I over reacted?

he has no right to do what he did. i have no right to do what i did. but i'm not hurting anyone by splitting.
