2 or 3 light coats of bondo (bodywork section of auto parts store) to fill in that area, a lot of sanding with the sand paper on a flat piece of wood and I shaped it like it was never there.

If you're asking me they are from kapscomoto.com. They're nice aluminum ones with shims to fit. I had to drill the holes in them for the lights

The headlight and tail are from a 77 kz750. The headlight lens is from a Harley. The front fender is off a 86 honda interceptor. The side panels are made from a street sign made of aluminum. I used Bristol board to get the right shape then t just bent them in a bench vise and powder coated them black. The picture shows first attempt. I later rebent the piece to get the lines to match. I also taped off the tank and painted it black underneath to help blend the panels

mike, I'm really digging the bike. but of course i have a question…lol… i know you cut down the factory seat to fit, did u recover the whole seat or just use the factory vinyl and re-attatch it? Also, when you cut it down, did you shave any of the foam? And what would you call the "bubble" where the battery is. All i can find is full fiberglass seats sections.
