I've got lots of spare racing parts lying around so I probably just used a different one but yeah it would need to be a lot longer for my setup.

Whoa! Has the price doubled?! When i got mine from Honda last year it was only like $12 or something. O_o

Wait, guess I should have asked if it is an aftermarket hugger that may fit the Ninja better than the stock cbr250's?

I looked mournfully at it on its stands, wishing that the USPS would hurry the **** up and deliver my brake rotor bolts so I could put it back together and ride.

She is still in the garage. I peek in to check on her every now and then. I think she is feeling lonely by this point.

Rode it to work like always but I did receive in the mail a new rear tire. Michelin Pilot Street Radial 140/70-17. I'll also be swapping my front Michelin pilot one race tire for a Dunlop race tire because they are $40 cheaper. The bad news is it won't be going on the bike for another 3k miles when my current tires are done, the good news is that'll probably be in a couple weeks right before my days of track time at Laguna Seca

Who wants another Ninja 250 vs Big bike Video? Should I try and sneak out onto the track with the Mtb on the rear?

No, I love the bike, but my wife and I are moving to Colorado next month and it'll be one less thing to move. Plus, I have been wanting to get like a 300 or 650 anyway, so it kind of kills 2 birds with one stone...

I'm heading out to Cortez CO in may for a mtb race, hoping for good trails and weather.

That's near the 4 corners area... Should be decent, I would think! We're moving to just south of Denver, which is a little under 400 miles northeast-ish.

Cool stuff. I'm now shopping for a rear tire, as my old one is betting pretty close to the wear markers.

Upgraded from Yoshi slip-on to full system. The Yoshi headers are 7mm fatter than the stock. Didn't realize they would look so shiny!

They really are shiny. When I saw them on someone else's bike, I almost wanted to get a Yoshi system just for those beautiful headers. I don't want their mufflers though lol. Really wish there was an Akrapovic system.

Waxed it, checked the tyres, cleaned the chain, waxed it again. My SE is very, very shiny.

Also cleaned and waxed my helmet, cleaned and reproofed by boots.

It was yesterday but installed Woodcraft clip ons and SSR preload caps. Also a Zero Gravity double bubble. I like my ninjette before but I love it now.

Yesterday rode it with the Mtb to LA in the ****ing crazy winds. Side winds weren't to bad as I'm good at just letting the bike float but the damn head winds had me in 4th WOT just trying to do 65mph. Been getting 41mpg with all the head wind and the weather report shows a head wind all the way from LA to Utah today, my poor little bike just can't catch a break.

Last night while riding around after sunset I could set the camera phone flashes coming from my sides as people took pictures.

cleaned front brake

Front brake was grabbing and locking, so it was time to clean it out. Complete disassembly of caliper, removal of rubber bits, cleaned out a lot of gunk, slime and deposits, and regreased sliders. Reassembled and flushed old fluid out. Strong braking again!

First ride with the new Puig windscreen. I like it! It takes the pressure off my body at high speeds, yet my helmet is is clean air when I am upright.

Wanted to make sure I could cover shifting my gas stops from 150 to 180 miles when riding at 70-75mph so tested today by riding out to Eureka for lunch. Yes, made it on 4 gallons and had an absolutely delish burger to boot. (80mph is when my mileage starts getting stupid so trying to find that sweet spot.)

Think that's the longest ride I've done just to get a hamburger but OMG was it fantastic. Pony Express Deli in Eureka on Hwy 50 if you are ever out that way. Totally recommended.
