AFAIK it was based on group and only one color per group, so standard green for normal members, orange for MOTM. And nope, wouldn't dream of requesting a change. That'd be rude.

The skin is called "Desert Green" (well, Ninjette Desert Green) but all, all subdued shades of light green. More of a moss type color over pure green.

Think military forest camo but faded after a few summers in the sun.

No, the images on the right show what the two colored circles would look like to anyone who is red/green (?) color blind. The top left is lighter than the bottom one, so the grey version doesn't show the number while the darker version has enough difference that the number shows even in greyscale.
