Experienced rider just bought a 2000 Ninja 250
I have been riding for 13 years. I started on a 1985 Honda Interceptor 500. Then I got myself a 1986 GSXR 750. I had a bunch of bikes after that in this order. 1977 Suzuki GS750, 1989 FZR600, 2003 CBR600RR, 1983 Kawi GPZ550, 1982 Honda Urban Express 50, another 1989 FZR600, 1998 Suzuki Savage 650, 2002 Kawi Vulcan 800, 1973 Honda CB350F, 2000 Yamaha Zuma 50, 1977 Suzuki GS550, 2005 Suzuki DRZ400SM 2005 Suzuki RM125, 2002 Kawi KX65, 2006 Kawi KLX110, 2008 KTM SXF450, and now my little 2000 Ninja 250.
My garage now only has the last three mentioned bikes in it but has had as many as 7 owned at once. I love bikes what can I say! So my 250 is for sure the slowest full sized bike I've owned but it has a charm to it I can't quite put my finger on. I look foward to many fun miles on this bike. |

I agree fully. They may be far from the fastest bike you can own, but they have a charm many others don't.
