Ducati Panigale 899
Just picked up my new bike today, I'm graduating from a baby Ninja to a baby Panigale. So far she still has only 1 mile on the odo since I trailered her home and has only been started once. My new baby Panigale:
I did however have a chance to ride the snot out of the demo which was equipped with Termignoni exhausts, a race screen, comfort seat, and numerous carbon fiber farkles. This bike is definitely a blast to ride and the quick-shift is stupid fun to use. Here's the actual demo bike I rode, as demoed by this polish-speaking youtuber (yes it's easy to wheelie): |

baby panigale is best panigale, bike looks beautiful. You better treat her right
sidenote: I need to learn how to speak some eastern european languages. Russian, polish, and german all sound badass. Working on the german soon edit: looking at it a bit more I realize that I really like the turn signals in the mirrors concept. It makes track preparation easy and it gives a classier, more streamlined look to the fairings. |

I don't know, I think it's pretty hard to go wrong when you pick up a sexy Italian supermodel!
They had a matte black 848 at my dealer for a good price but I just had to get the Panigale 899 since it's the bike I've been lusting after. Still, I had a hard time at the dealer when I saw all the Monsters, Diavels, and Panigale's to choose from. I kept thinking, maybe I want a Monster! Thanks! She sure is a looker and boy can she scream!!! She made my wife jump when I twisted the throttle! |

If I had more cash on me I would've bought the 899. I'll probably pick one up after I'm done with the 848. Although my "older" bike is starting to grow on me.

Me too bro me too. Dammit I should've emptied my savings. That bike looks like it hits way harder than mine when it hits the power band. Also the videos do NOT do the sound justice. The off throttle noises consist of coughing and popping. These bikes sound so cool when rolling off.

I might make one at some point then, I typically use rubber key chains that don't scratch anything but I like the classy style that your sinnet fob has.

Congratulations! Very cool bike!
I have a 2005 Ducati SuperSport 1000. These Italian bikes have a sound and feel all their own. I love all Ducati's - I love my SuperSport the best. Here's a sound check video (notice the dry clutch sound) and photo of my machine - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oa-vu2hWuw8 |

Congrats! that's a bad a$$ bike. Those 899's are good for street and track, due to the extra low-end torque. OP are you gonna stay with the ninja forum or migrating to 899panigale.org?

We'll see, this place is more alive than 250R.net and most forums out there!
I'm looking to get a Panigale or keep it in the family as well with the zx6r in the future.

The only downside I've found for this bike so far is that it makes you spend money. I've already spent more on farkles and gear for the Panigale then I ever did for the 250 and it's been less than a month... oh well. |

I would say that it is very flickable, just like the 250. I have no issues leaning the bike with confidence, the only thing that keeps me from being more aggressive is the fact that I don't have pants with sliders but they're on my shopping list. But yes, it handles very well and from what I understand enjoys sharper steering even over the 1199 due to it's shorter trail and steeper head angle. I'm sure there are many bikes that can outhandle her but she goes exactly where I point her and the steering is instinctive so from my standpoint I'm quite happy. |

Do you have a corolla with a 4agze motor? I used the have a pumped up 89 Mr2 SC a while back, and few other mr2's. I have a miata right now and it grips great, but it's underpowered just like any other miata. I need at least 8psi of boost to keep me happy.
