Full yoshi system/jetting question.

I recently purchased a full yoshi system and have read a diy thread and it seems pretty straight forward to install it myself to save some money.

My question is weather or not it will be fine to just do the full system myself and than drive it to the dealer to get it rejetted as im not comfortable doing that myself. Will I damage anything or should I be good to go as long as I get it jetted sooner rather than later. I would prob not even use it after the exhaust is on until i drive it to the dealer.

I just don't want to damage my bike if driving it without a jetting is super bad for it.

Thanks in advance everyone.

You would be fine to ride it to the dealer. Although if you want piece of mind just have them put the exhaust on, they'll already have the fairings off to jet the bike. It'll only take them an extra ten minutes to through the exhaust on.

I was the same way about the jetting so that's how I did it, over the winter I installed a full Area-p system, removed the snorkel, switched to a K&N filter. The first ride this spring was straight to the shop a mile away to get it jetted. I don't think it hurt a thing but it didn't run the best. Idled fine but if I gave it to much gas riding it, it would just bog down. Slow and steady on the gas and it ran fine though the speed limit was only 30 between my house and the shop.

Hey Benji, did you get it back already?
