hi from Vancouver first time poster and my first Ninja 250r

hi everyone, just picked up a ninja 250r 2008. Has a Musarri carbon fibre exhuast and the k&n air filter. This is not my first bike, i have had a zxr750. Going from a 750 to a 250 did hurt a bit. But once i checked my ego at the door, i really have begun to enjoy the little bike. Plus it suits the type of rider i have become and is a lot more comfy.

I can't believe how well it handles! Just blows me away. Every good thing i have heard of these little bikes is true so far.

It is definitely more than i was expecting from a 250cc. Im also a big guy at 6'1 240 (i work out but there is definitely beer involved, so its not all muscle and it pulls me uphill without hesitation....i'm not doing 0-60mph anymore at lightning speed but it is surprisingly fast. I also like the fact that i can use this bike at its limits... with my 750, even at the track, I could not push the limits of it.

It's a lot of fun.

I look forward to riding it a lot more!

Cheers

At least we can both share the same pain of supporting teams that are habitual playoff chokers
